More free advertising!

Welcome to Wrongmont!  A little slice of heaven right here in Longmont.

I had a feeling the posting of Times-Call endorsements couldn't possibly be the thing driving all this recent traffic here, and sure enough the site got mentioned again in the paper.  I don't know who these people are as they don't contact me, but I'm starting to think they are fake names of actual Wrongmont fans trying to pump up my traffic.  Whoever you are, thanks!  The more the message can get out the better.

About any grammatical errors you think you might see, it's completely intentional.  I had a conversation recently about this at the Times-Call's HQ, and they got it, apparently some of the less creative thinkers in the city don't.  I intentionally write the way I talk, which is in a conversational, or colloquial, way.  (Go ahead, look it up, I'll wait).  That and I'm a smart aleck; I use humor and sarcasm to get my points across.  If you want dull and proper English, or are so unbelievably sensitive that the slightest thing will get your panties in a bunch - this isn't the place for you.

So why are you here?  Is it the whole train wreck thing, can't avert your eyes?  I don't advertise, I don't need to ask for readers, I get hundreds a day whether I like it or not.  If you don't like it, don't read it, your presence is not necessary or requested - so get over yourself.  There are other alternatives, although they're not nearly as entertaining, interesting, or relevant for that matter.  If this site is just too much to bear, I hear paint drying and grass growing could be a more acceptable alternative.

To the rest of you, thanks for checking back in on a regular basis.  You know the truth that this site is not factually incorrect (funny how people who say that never give one example) or laced with profanity.  If you consider pointing out elected officials misdeeds as "mean" (mean? How childish is that?), then guilty as charged.  If you really have issues with this site - start your own!  Tip: many have tried, many have failed.  This site didn't just pop up this election cycle - although will go into hibernation after the election.

But again, thanks for visiting.  While you're here look at the massive archive of entries and also at Longmont Advocate.  As they say, it's all good.
